The RA National Assembly President Galust Sahakyan sent congratulatory address on the occasion of the birthday of People’s Artist of Armenia Ruben Matevosyan.

The NA President’s address reads:

“Through more than half a century due to your unforgettable performances the Armenian song continues to enthrall the audience; and those who for the first time have been in touch with our folk and ashugh abroad through your unique voice, modern Armenian composers’ songs, have fallen in love with the Armenian song art and Armenian culture in general.

Your activity is a sincere devotion to the Armenian music art, to which you selflessly serve first as Aram Merangulyan Folk Instruments’ Ensemble Soloist, and now as Artistic Director of the same ensemble, passing your rich experience and knowledge to those who continue your work.”

The President of the National Assembly wished the celebrant health, creative inexhaustible energy and new successes.
